Terms and Conditions for Best of Namibia Competition

Welcome to the Best of Namibia. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the participation in the Best of Namibia competition.

Eligibility

  • Nominated businesses must operate within Namibia to be eligible for nomination.

 

Nomination and Voting

  • Nominations and voting are open to the public.
  • Each individual is allowed one vote per sub-category.
  • Sub-categories must reach a minimum of 3 repeated nominations (2 or more nominations) for the sub-category to be deemed viable and continue to the voting stage.
  • If a sub-category does not receive sufficient nominations it will be removed.

 

Email Subscription and Communications

  • By participating in the Best of Namibia competition, either through nominating a business or individual or by voting, you agree to opt-in to our newsletter and communications. We will use the email address you provide to send you updates, announcements, and promotional content related to the Best of Namibia competition and our partners.
  • By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge that you are consenting to receive emails from us and understand your right to opt-out of these communications at any time.

 

Content

  • Participants agree not to submit unlawful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
  • The organisers reserve the right to remove any nominations that violate these terms.

 

Winning and Prizes

  • After the nomination phase, the voting phase will be open to public vote. Winners will be determined by public vote.
  • The organisers may choose, with support from its partners, to present winners with prizes, but are not liable to do so.

 

Intellectual Property

  • Content submitted to the website remains the property of the respective participants, but by participating, you grant us a non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with the competition.

 

Liability

  • The organisers are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from participation in the competition or the acceptance/use of any prize.

 

Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • The organisers reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice.

 

Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Namibia.
